Once unraveled, the threads of a life are not easily reformed in a new land. The dance of Home was begun as Yu Wei was preparing to leave China. She studied books and films to educate her, but never fully imagined the exhilarating new sensations awaiting her until she arrived in her new home. Everything glistened with change, even the air was a different color. “Home” is a humorous dance about a small person being overwhelmed by the rush of sensations in a strange new world.
